Main text of original flyer: ---------------------------------- The Epoch Times invites you to an eye-opening Public Forum
“China and Its Impact on You”
With visual presentations and guest speakers
Guest speakers will discuss aspects of China’s past and present that are currently having an impact on our world. Since the publication of the 9 Commentaries that chronicle and reveal the Chinese Communist Regime’s true history, more than 21 million people have quit the CCP and the exodus continues at a daily rate of 30,000. While the world’s governments covet trade with China, the communist regime continues its widespread and covert human rights violations with a tight grip on censorship. Forum participants will have the opportunity to view rare footage from the Chinese government’s own archives that are no longer accessible to the public since the 4thJune, 1989 Tian An Men massacre and the alleged self-immolation incident in January 2001. The footage stands as testimony to the communist regime’s methods of mind control and brutal repression of it’s own people since the 1950’s until today.
Guest speakers:
. Peter Westmore President of the National Civic Council . Ana C Vereshaka Editor/writer The Epoch Times, 9 Commentaries on the Communist Party – Special Publication . Photo: "I've come a long way to be here". This elderly farmer took his life savings of four US dollars to walk more than 1,000 miles in 26 days to Beijing. Stopped by a policeman on Tiananmen Square, with nothing but a bag on his shoulder, he quietly untied the bag and showed the inquirer several pairs of worn-out, home-made shoes. "See, I’ve come a long way to be here. All I want to tell you is Falun Gong is good and the government is wrong." He was considered a threat to national security and arrested. -----------------------
